About Me

Hi! My name is Charlotte and I truly believe that everything in life matters, no matter how big or small. When I'm not girl bossing at my corporate 9-5, I love to knit, cook, lift weights, take care my dog "Lady" and run my new small business.

I have always had an independent and curious spirit. I first learned to knit when I was 8 from my mom and quickly became obsessed. I knit all the time. The first dollar I ever earned for myself was at a craft fair where I made hand knit scarves. After discovering what boys and peer pressure were, I lost touch with the hobby. About 6 years ago I discovered the hobby again and haven't looked back since! Like many, after Covid I struggled to find my rythym and sense of community again, which prompted my first YouTube video post. What started as a silly joke to myself has blossomed into a creative outlet, sense of community, shared interests and support to chase dreams and my own curiosity. To anyone who has watched my videos or supported my budding small business, I thank you :)

I had high hopes of my YouTube channel being centered around all the knitting I was doing, but life would have a detour for me. An old injury halted my knitting pursuits and gave me an opportunity to try new mediums. Polymer clay enters the chat! I had so much fun making tiny little figures and seeing how people responded to them as gifts, that I decided I want make that accessible to more people! And thus, Every Stitch Counts LLC was born. I have never run a business before and I am already learning so much. I had no idea what opportunities a janky iphone video could provide to me, and I still have no idea what could come ahead, but I'm excited to keep moving forward. I hope you enjoy the things I make, and that they bring a moment or two of joy to your crafting time. I like to think of them as my little knitting buddies who help me not take anything to seriously :)

Have a look around and let's make every stitch count!
